ThruLines - AncestryDNA’s Most Exciting Way to Understand Your Ancestors

Our next meeting will be April 22 at 1 PM in East Rec and on Zoom (see below for the Zoom link).  

ThruLines may be the most important new tool in understanding your family genealogy.  Based on AncestryDNA, Ancestry has brought together a wealth of information which can help you understand whether or not to add possible ancestors to your tree.

We’ll start with a description of AncestryDNA and ThruLines to understand how ThruLines is able to bring together a wide range of new information for your research.  Then we’ll look at specific examples to see how that information can be used to determine whether or not additional relatives can be added to your family tree.

Whether you have done DNA or not, and whether or not you have an Ancestry subscription, understanding ThruLines will give you insights into how your future research can proceed - particularly if you’re considering a DNA test.
